Theoretical training:
Brazing refers to a welding method in which the filler metal lower than the melting point of the weldment and the weldment are simultaneously heated to the melting temperature of the solder, and then the liquid filler metal is used to fill the gaps between the solid workpieces to connect the metals.
When brazing, the oxide film and oil stains on the contact surface of the base metal must first be removed to facilitate the capillary function after the solder melts and increase the wettability and capillary fluidity of the solder. According to the different melting points of solder, brazing is divided into hard soldering and soft soldering.


Practical assessment:
Brazing process: The surface-cleaned workpieces are assembled together in an overlapping pattern, and the solder is placed near or between the joint gaps. When the workpiece and the solder are heated to a temperature slightly higher than the melting point of the solder, the solder melts (the workpiece is not melted) and is sucked into and fills the gap between the solid workpiece by capillary action. The liquid solder and the workpiece metal diffuse and dissolve each other. After condensation, a brazed joint is formed.


The first brazing training was held by the company to improve employee skills.
