Phase I of the 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) concluded successfully in Pazhou, Guangzhou. As the 'barometer' of China’s foreign trade, this grand event celebrates its 70th anniversary this year.
Unlike previous years, the Guangzhou Meteorological Service announced that Guangzhou entered summer on March 19 this year, 28 days earlier than the average, marking the earliest summer onset since 1961.
During the fair, outdoor temperatures repeatedly exceeded 30℃, posing an unprecedented severe test for the venue cooling system in terms of indoor comfort.
The fair reached a new record scale with an exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters, gathering over 210,000 global buyers in Pazhou. Amid bustling crowds and heated business negotiations, the cooling system maintaining comfort and ventilation for exhibitors and buyers faced its annual 'extreme challenge'. HON MING is the 'behind-the-scenes hero' that ensures stable and efficient cooling for this high-traffic venue.
The early summer brings higher outdoor temperatures, stronger solar radiation, and longer-duration, higher-load cooling demand inside the venue. For exhibitors and buyers, venue comfort directly determines their stay time and transaction efficiency. For HON MING, ensuring round-the-clock stable cooling for the Canton Fair Complex is a responsibility and a testament to its technical strength.
As a key participant in the expansion project of the Canton Fair Complex, HON MING has been deeply involved in the Phase IV East Plot project. Behind the world’s largest exhibition complex, 27 HON MING MKX series high-efficiency open cross-flow cooling towers operate stably around the clock with zero failures.
These 'giant' units have a total designed flow rate of up to 15,000m³/h, acting as the 'green heart' of the complex. They deliver powerful and stable cooling energy to the Canton Fair Command Center, The Westin Hotel and Phase IV Exhibition Hall day and night, calmly coping with peak cooling demand brought by the early summer, and fully ensuring a comfortable experience at the 139th Canton Fair despite high temperatures.
Faced with the dual pressures of cooling challenges from an early summer and global energy conservation and emission reduction, HON MING delivered a perfect response with robust core technologies:
All-steel structure, responding to the 'global anti-plastic campaign': The units feature an all-steel tower body with strong weather resistance, ensuring long-term stable operation even under high-temperature and high-humidity summer conditions.
High efficiency and energy saving, leading industry standards: The products have obtained CTI (Cooling Technology Institute) thermal performance certification and CQC energy and water saving certification. They effectively reduce energy consumption during high-load operation in early summer, realizing 'green cooling'.
Variable flow operation for complex working conditions: In response to the complex multi-condition and variable flow demands of large commercial complexes, HON MING units demonstrate outstanding adaptability and reliability, calmly handling load peaks caused by fluctuating visitor flows and temperature changes during the fair.
The 139th Canton Fair is in full swing, and HON MING’s outstanding performance continues. On this grand occasion, HON MING Technology Group is headquartered on the 13th Floor, Tower A, Canton Fair Building, closely adjacent to the Canton Fair Complex.
We sincerely invite peers, friendly enterprises and global customers attending and visiting the Canton Fair to take a break from busy business negotiations and visit HON MING’s headquarters for guidance.
Here, you can not only learn about the core technologies of HON MING’s cooling systems up close, but also communicate face-to-face with us about first-hand experience in large-scale venue cooling support, and discuss industry trends and cooperation opportunities.
